Actal can affect the absorption of some medicines. If you are taking other medicines such as tetracycline, rifampicin, warfarin, iron or digoxin you should speak to your pharmacist or doctor before taking Actal. Actal can interfere with the special coating of some tablets. Actal can cause constipation when taken in large amounts.
Allow two tablets to dissolve on the tongue as required, up to 8 times daily. Do not exceed 16 tablets in 24 hours. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Actal should not be taken by those with severe weakness or those with kidney impairment. It is also nor recommended when bloated with wind. Keep out of the reach of children. For professional advice on medicines, consult your pharmacist. Store below 25 Celsius in a dry place.
