This medicine is an anti-androgen used in combination with another medicine to treat prostate cancer.

Before using
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.


Directions
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine may be taken on an empty stomach or with food. Take this medicine at the same time every day. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.


Cautions
DO NOT STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE without consulting your doctor. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are being treated with this medicine. THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE constipation or diarrhea. If you experience either constipation or diarrhea, ask your doctor or pharmacist to recommend a treatment for you.


Possible side effects
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include hot flashes, decreased sexual ability, generalized pain, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or painful or enlarged breasts in men. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience muscle aches or yellowing of the skin or eyes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
